Eight new startups have been selected to participate in the Start Path program

Eight new startups have been selected by Mastercard to participate in the Start Path program to support businesses taking their first steps. The program gives late-stage startups access to its customer base to test their services.

Startup.az informs that the startups selected for participation in the program are: Dodo, Flow Networks, Hi, KaiOS, Kani Payments, NowNow, Sharesies, and SmilePay. Based in the US, UK, Singapore, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, Australia, and New Zealand, the company provides a range of services, including lending, payment information management, investment, and facial recognition, according to the company.

SmilePay, an Azerbaijani startup, has become one of the group's most successful members. The app offers a next-generation payment solution based on facial recognition technology, allowing for device-free and cashless transactions in retail and e-commerce.

"The Start Path program has had less than 300 startups participate since its inception in 2014.
